On June 8-10, as part of the "Protection of Caucasian Leopards" project, the IDEA Public Union, the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic Child and Youth Development Center of the Ministry of Education, and the Azerbaijani representative office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), with the support of the Lerik District Executive Power, organized the next "Let's Protect the Leopards!" ecological summer camp. About 60 schoolchildren from the Lerik district attended the camp, which was held in the village of Gosmalian, Lerik district.

Along with numerous tree plantings taking place on the outskirts of Baku these days, large-scale afforestation measures across the country also continue within the Green Marathon campaign. On 14 April 2022, with the help of ecovolunteers, 1650 maple seedlings were planted in the open field of the Alpan forestry under the Guba District Regional Forestry Center. In total, 1000 hectares of unvegetated areas will be the focus of planting, sowing and regeneration efforts during the spring-autumn season.

On April 12, the next yard renovated within the framework of the "Our Yard" project of IDEA Public Union, aimed at beautifying yards in need of repair, was made available to residents. Leyla Aliyeva, vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening of the courtyard and in the tree-planting action held during the event. The renovated yard includes three multi-storey residential buildings with 1300 residents at 24 and 26 Rahib Mammadov Street, and 2 Ashiq Alasgar Street, Khatai district. The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to ensure ecologically clean and beautiful yards in the country, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

Green Marathon campaign was carried out in Mushvigabad settlement on 11 April 2022. Jointly run by IDEA and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and at the initiative of Central Bank of Azerbaijan this time, the nation-wide tree planting event was attended by the financial institutions of the country. During the event, around 6000 pine and olive trees were planted on an 8 hectare area.
