Our Yard Project - Khatai District, R. Mammadov and A. Alasgar Streets

On April 12, the next yard renovated within the framework of the "Our Yard" project of IDEA Public Union, aimed at beautifying yards in need of repair, was made available to residents.

Leyla Aliyeva, vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening of the courtyard and in the tree-planting action held during the event.

The renovated yard includes three multi-storey residential buildings with 1300 residents at 24 and 26 Rahib Mammadov Street, and 2 Ashiq Alasgar Street, Khatai district.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to ensure ecologically clean and beautiful yards in the country, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the improved courtyard, the convenient movement of disabled people was taken into account, and favorable conditions were created for people of all age groups to relax in the open air. Numerous chat rooms and seats were installed, and waste bins were provided. To encourage young people to spend their free time effectively and to foster a habit of regular sports activities, mini-football, basketball, and chess playgrounds with artificial surfaces, various sports facilities, and a bicycle path were built in the area.

Considering the wishes and interests of the residents, new lighting poles were installed in the yard, the facades and blocks of the buildings were completely renovated, and gas, water, and heating lines were rebuilt. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, about 500 different trees and bushes were planted, and a green strip was laid on an area of 2,500 square meters. Surveillance cameras have also been installed in the area to ensure the safety of residents.
