More than 500 trees, thousands of shrubs and plants, including ivy, are planted in the yard, effectively purifying the air. Playgrounds, sports facilities, chat rooms, seats, etc. The new products are already available to more than 1,200 residents of the area and are an additional incentive for them to be outdoors.

A group of young people, eager to address environmental issues and improve their English language skills, attended the Green Conversation Club meeting yesterday. Invited students from the International School TISA and their teacher discussed fast fashion, mass production, and its impact on the environment. The fashion industry is one of the world's largest polluters, as it contaminates water, uses toxic chemicals, and increases waste levels in landfills. Steps we can take as consumers include extending the lifespan of our clothing, donating it for recycling, and, most importantly, buying new items less frequently.

It's time to say goodbye to the IDEA 2022 Summer Festival in Shamakhi. The final week of the camp was dedicated to the theme "Solidarity", which provided a great opportunity to explore the importance of environmental solidarity in an era of environmental concerns and the wide range of solidarity activities in which young people can participate.

In keeping with the current week's theme of the 2022 IDEA Summer Festival, "Careers and Development," the training provided by IDEA covered a variety of environmental careers and their benefits. Today, people have become more aware of environmental issues, and since they affect many aspects of life, people with different skill levels can work in the environmental field. Whether they are directly involved in working with plants and animals, scientific research, fundraising or climate awareness, it is all about improving our quality of life. It can also serve as motivation for young people, helping them to become clearer about their goals and achieve success.

The topic of our training this week at the Summerfest 2022 camp was From Idea to Business. During the session, emphasizing that young people play an important role in solving environmental problems, the participants of the camp were given examples of advanced business practices in the direction of protecting the planet, and ways to initiate and succeed in green entrepreneurship were discussed.

This week the IDEA Summerfest featured the Sustainable Development Goals, and of course we came to camp to discuss the environmental aspects of the Goals. We held discussions on how to protect the planet from degradation, including sustainable consumption and production, effective management of natural resources and action to combat climate change. At the end of the day, the young campers were shown our videos on the Sustainable Development Goals, created together with our UN partners.
