The Green Conversation Club Meeting
The Green Conversation Club meeting was held with youth at IDEA. A group of young people, eager to address environmental issues and improve their English language skills, attended the Green Conversation Club meeting yesterday. Invited students from the International School TISA and their teacher discussed fast fashion, mass production, and its impact on the environment. The fashion industry is one of the world's largest polluters, as it contaminates water, uses toxic chemicals, and increases waste levels in landfills. Steps we can take as consumers include extending the lifespan of our clothing, donating it for recycling, and, most importantly, buying new items less frequently.
