On 19 December 2015, another training session will be held within the “Ecological laboratory for children” project jointly carried out by IDEA Public Union and “Sevimli Bala”. The December session of the Laboratory, which is aimed at increasing the knowledge of children about the environment and wildlife, will be held on the subject of “Earth and the new year”.

On 13 November 2015 the concluding scientific seminar in a series of events entitled “Environmental Management” was held at the IDEA Resource Center for the students of the Western University, Baku Business University, Baku Eurasia University, Odlar Yurdu University and Azerbaijan University. In the course of the seminar, Elman Yusifov, a prominent expert on the protection of biodiversity, shared interesting facts on various fields of environmental science with the participants.

On 6 November 2015, as part of IDEA’s educational programme, a scientific seminar titled “Environmental Management” was organized at the IDEA Resource Center for the students of the Academy of Azerbaijan State Border Service, Heydar Aliyev Academy of the Ministry of National Security, Top Level Military School named after Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan High Military Naval School, Azerbaijan High Military Aviation School, Police Academy under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Higher Military School of the Internal Troops under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During the meeting, Leyla Aliyeva highlighted the activities and achievements of IDEA in the field of protection of the environment in the region. She expressed concern about the ecological situation in the Caspian Sea, especially degradation of its rich fauna observed in recent years, and stressed the importance of benefiting from the international experience as a solution to the problem. It was noted that, in this regard, IDEA closely cooperates with leading international experts specializing in the marine environment.
