Tree Planting Campaign Held in Kubadli as Part of the Green Marathon

On April 13, a tree planting campaign was held in the Kubadli District, initiated by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, Leyla Aliyeva, under the “Republican Greenery Marathon” (“Green Marathon”).

In the village of Mughanli, where greenery had been destroyed, a total of 750 trees, including acacia, plane trees, and mulberries, as well as seeds, were planted.

It should be noted that actions conducted in areas liberated from occupation are of significant importance for restoring damaged green spaces and revitalizing the nature of these areas.

The project, organized by IDEA Public Union and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, aims to increase green areas, promote tree planting, protect the environment, enhance the biodiversity of our country’s flora, and contribute to environmental awareness.

IDEA Public Union, emphasizing the crucial role of green spaces in improving overall ecological conditions and minimizing the impacts of climate change, continues to carry out large-scale tree planting initiatives in other regions of the country in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

Project partners, aiming to plant around 1 million trees during the spring and autumn seasons, call on everyone to support this initiative and unite for the green future of our nature.
