Tree Planting Actions in the Green Marathon in Khojasan Settlement and Tartar District

On April 9, under the initiative of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, Leyla Aliyeva, the "Republican Greenery Marathon" ("Green Marathon") continues its successful tree planting actions across the country.

In Tartar District and the Khojasan settlement in Baku, 1225 trees of various species suited to the soil and climate conditions of the areas were planted with the participation of local volunteers.

The project, organized jointly by IDEA Public Union and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, aims to increase green areas, promote tree planting, protect the environment, enhance the biodiversity of our country’s flora, and contribute to raising awareness about the preservation of green spaces.

IDEA Public Union places special importance on increasing green areas, which play an invaluable role in improving the overall ecological situation and minimizing the impacts of climate change. Together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, they continue large-scale tree planting efforts in other districts of the country.

Project partners, aiming to plant around 1 million trees during the spring and autumn seasons, urge everyone to support this initiative and unite for the green future of our nature.
