The Number of IDEA Eco-scouts is Increasing Day by Day

The Eco-scout project, initiated by IDEA Public Union and generating great interest among young people, continues successfully. A meeting was held at the IDEA Resource Center on March 15 with new members who registered to join the IDEA eco-scouts.

It should be noted that this project was launched in March of last year. The purpose of the project is to attract young people to nature conservation, encourage them to save and properly use natural resources, study and protect the living world in depth, and engage in useful environmental work in society.

The IDEA eco-scout project provides young people with the opportunity to participate in this social movement and become leaders by understanding the environmental problems that threaten our planet and involving others in solving these issues.

During the meeting, young people who wish to become IDEA eco-scouts were given detailed information about the nature of the project, the responsibilities of eco-scouts, their operational principles, daily eco-scout rules, how to become a member of the eco-scout club, ways to obtain a membership card and high-status cards, and the mechanism for collecting points.

About 30 young people who applied to join the project were given membership cards, hats, backpacks, and badges specially designed by IDEA. Newly joined members will have the opportunity to collect points and increase their status by participating in activities beneficial to the environment under the designation of "Young Environmentalist." Eco-scouts who collect enough points will be recognized as having reached the highest level and will be awarded a certificate and valuable gifts by IDEA.

At the end of the meeting, the new members who voluntarily joined the IDEA eco-scout project took the "eco-scout oath" together.
