The First Red Deer were Released into the Shahdag National Park

The first red deer were released into the Ismailli section of the Shahdag National Park within the joint framework of the deer reintroduction project of IDEA and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resource.

 

The released individuals will undergo an adaptation period in a specially designated area and will be subsequently released into regions of Azerbaijan, which the red deer have historically inhabite.
