The Cheerful Leopards Environmental Competition Announced
The IDEA Public Union, founded and headed by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, announces an environmental competition for children titled "Cheerful Leopards." In this competition, children will be able to submit photos of themselves dressed in outfits depicting leopards and other felines to IDEA.
The main goal of the project is to instill and develop a love for leopards and wildlife in children from a young age, to inform them about the lifestyle and habitats of this rare species, and to highlight the importance of leopard conservation.
According to the competition rules, photos can be taken in any format, with a professional camera or phone. The photos must be taken specifically for this competition. Each participant may submit a maximum of two photos. Children can also paint their faces to create a more detailed depiction of animals. The competition is open to children up to 15 years old. Photos that do not meet the competition requirements will be disqualified.
The competition jury will select the top three best and most creative photos. Winners will receive valuable prizes.
Anyone wishing to participate must send their photos by January 15, 2015, at the latest, to the email address [email protected] with the subject line "Cheerful Leopards." The email must also include a free text with the author’s name, surname, and contact details along with the photo.
