Summer School on Protection of the Environment for the Current and Future Generations Held

The summer school on "Protection of the Environment for the Current and Future Generations," organized jointly by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign, has been inaugurated.

As part of the project, lectures on the importance of environmental protection will be delivered to about 50 young people, including students and graduates of higher education institutions, over the course of a week. They will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work done on site.

Participants of the summer school will attend lectures and excursions on topics such as Azerbaijan's environmental policy, climate change, measures taken for environmental protection, waste management, environmental monitoring methodologies, protection of the Caspian Sea environment, identifying destructive impacts on the environment in occupied territories, and more.

The goal of the project is to enhance the knowledge and skills of youth in the field of environmental protection and safety, improve the level of ecological culture among the younger generation, and engage the public in the joint protection of the environment.
