Screening of an Ecological Film as Part of the IDEA Campaign Eco Cinema Project

On June 14, as part of the "Eco Cinema" project by the IDEA campaign, a screening of the world-renowned film Home took place at the Resource Center located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event, held in recognition of "June 17 - World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought," was attended by about 30 young people. After the screening, a discussion of the film was held.

The film Home is a rare documentary aimed at uniting young people around the common cause of protecting the future. The film serves as a visual tool for people to acquaint themselves with Earth's natural beauty while warning about the negative impacts current environmental issues may have on this beauty.

The film has been translated into more than 14 languages. The IDEA campaign plans to translate it into the Azerbaijani language soon and broadcast it to the public via local television channels.

As part of the "Eco Cinema" project, it is planned to hold film screenings and discussions among students at the Resource Center every two weeks.
