Recycling for Environment Youth Summer Camp will be Held

The camp, which aims to involve up to 30 youth, will be organized with the support of IDEA campaign, Goychay Development Centre Public Union, Ireli Public Union, US Education Centre and SOCAR Ecology Department.

The camp, which will involve up to 30 youth, was organized with the support of IDEA campaign, Goychay Development Centre Public Union, Ireli Public Union, US Education Centre and SOCAR Ecology Department.

During the camp, trainings will be given on diverse kind of environmental themes such as household waste and its management, advantages of recycling, eco-volunteerism, fundraising for implementation of ideas of youth and education opportunities in the US. In addition, trainings were held on dangers of plastic materials for the environment.

On the last day of the camp, the participants will tour the SOCAR eco-park in Gala district. They will be informed about the goal of the eco-park, its production fields and infrastructure.

The camp aims to organize efficient summer time for young people, encourage them to protect environment, increase knowledge in the field of environment and their responsibility for protecting nature.
