Project Our Yard - Nasimi District, A. Aliyev 5, 5A, 7, 9 and S. Rahman Street 2A
As part of the Our Yard project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder, and head of the IDEA Public Union, the next landscaped yard has been made available to residents.
The renovated yard serves buildings with 1,000 residents at 5, 5A, 7, 9 Azer Aliyev Street and 2A Sabit Rahman Street, Nasimi District, Baku City.
The primary goal of the Our Yard project is to make Baku's yards ecologically clean and beautified, restore greenery that is essential to urban ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
In this latest renovated yard, accessibility for people with disabilities was considered. To foster the development of children of all age groups, promote effective use of free time, and encourage systematic sports participation, various sports facilities, football fields, chess boards, and children's playgrounds have been built. Additionally, 5 chat areas, seating, and waste bins were installed.
Considering the needs and preferences of the residents, new elevators, lighting poles, and security cameras were installed. The facades, roof coverings, and entrance areas of the buildings were completely renovated, and an electromagnetic card entry system was implemented for the blocks. Along with restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 30 trees were planted, and a green strip covering 2,000 square meters was established.
This project is planned to be implemented across all districts of Baku. In this regard, residents are encouraged to submit information and recommendations about other courtyards in need of improvement to IDEA.
