Presentation of the Documentary Film “Ghzil-Aghaj State Reserve - Caspian Tale”

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, Leyla Aliyeva, attended the event.

Before the film presentation, guests watched six documentary films produced since 2014, including videos about Shirvan National Park, Ag-Gel National Park, Göygöl National Park, Absheron National Park, and Shahdag National Park, and also explored a photo exhibition.

Speaking at the ceremony, the film director Igor Bishnyov expressed gratitude to the project initiator Leyla Aliyeva, shared interesting details about the filming process of the latest project film, and highlighted the unique beauty and natural richness of our country as a rare treasure. The film features globally significant mammals, endemic and endangered species, as well as transboundary migratory animals listed in the "Red Book" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, inhabiting the territory of the Ghzil-Aghaj State Reserve established in 2018 by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the event, 10 young people who actively participated as volunteers in IDEA projects in 2023 were awarded certificates of appreciation by Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva.

Following the presentation of the film Ghzil-Aghaj State Reserve - Caspian Tale, a trailer for a new film about the Hirkan National Park, currently in production, was also shown. The main goal of IDEA in creating a series of documentary films related to national parks is to promote the mysterious natural beauty of Azerbaijan both domestically and internationally, as well as to draw attention to the importance of environmental protection.
