Our Yard Project - Sabunchu district, Adil Alibabayev street

Within the framework of the Our Yard Project, implemented by the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, the next landscaped yard was made available to residents.

The renovated yard includes buildings No. 1-5, where about 1,300 residents live, located on Adil Alibabayev Street, Sabunchu District, Baku.

The main goal of the Our Yard Project is to make Baku yards ecologically clean and beautified, to restore greenery that is the pillar of urban ecology, to promote a healthy lifestyle, and to create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the newly renovated yard, the comfortable movement of disabled people was taken into account, and in order to create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, to help them spend their free time effectively, and to encourage systematic sports activities, various sports facilities, football fields, chess areas, children’s playgrounds, and a bicycle path have been built. In the new yard, 8 chat rooms were built, and seats and waste bins were installed.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, new elevators, lighting poles, and fire hydrants were installed, and the facades, roof coverings, and entrance parts of the buildings were repaired. In addition to the restoration of the existing greenery in the yard, 30 trees were planted, and a green strip was laid over an area of 2,000 square meters.

The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, we request information and recommendations about the courtyards in our capital that need improvement to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
