Our Yard Project - Nizami District, G. Garayev Avenue, A. Manafov and K. Balakishiyev Streets

On December 28, the next yard renovated within the framework of the "Our Yard" project by IDEA Public Union, aimed at beautifying yards in need of repair, was made available to residents.

Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder, and head of IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening of the courtyard, as well as in the mass tree planting event held during the ceremony.

During the event, which coincided with the New Year's holiday, a special holiday party was organized for the young residents of the landscaped courtyard, and holiday gifts were presented to the children. The celebration, rich in musical entertainment programs, created a pleasant festive mood for the children and gave them moments full of joy.

The renovated courtyard includes multi-storey residential buildings with 1400 residents at the addresses of 12, 14, 16, 18 Kara Garayev Avenue, 8, 6 Uzbekistan Street, 3, 5 Azer Manafov Street, 8a, 11, 15 Kamil Balakishiyev Street, Nizami District.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to ensure ecologically clean and beautified yards in the country, restore greenery that forms the pillar of urban ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the newly renovated yard, the convenient movement of disabled people was taken into account. To create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, to spend their free time efficiently, and to encourage systematic sports, a mini football and basketball stadium with artificial turf, a chess court, a table tennis area, various sports facilities, and playgrounds were built. Additionally, a fountain was constructed for children to enjoy on hot days, and a 300-meter-long bicycle path was laid out. The area also features 11 chat rooms, numerous seats, litter bins, bird nests, and cat houses.

Considering the wishes and interests of the residents, new lighting poles were installed in the courtyard, and the facades and blocks of the buildings were completely repaired. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 450 trees and bushes of different species were planted, and a green strip was laid over an area of ​​4000 square meters. Surveillance cameras have also been installed in the area to ensure the safety of residents.

Residents are encouraged to submit information and recommendations to the IDEA Public Association regarding the landscaping of common residential areas within the framework of this project.
