Our Yard Project - Nasimi District, Javadkhan Street
Within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, the next landscaped yard has been made available to residents.
The renovated yard encompasses buildings housing 616 residents at 10, 12, 16, and 18 Javadkhan Street, Nasimi District.
The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to make Baku's yards ecologically clean and beautiful, restore greenery as a pillar of urban ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
In this newly renovated courtyard, provisions were made for the comfortable movement of disabled people. Various sports facilities, including football, basketball, and chess fields, were created to provide favorable conditions for children of all age groups to develop, spend their free time effectively, and cultivate a habit of regular sports practice. A playground for children and a bicycle path were also constructed. Additionally, 2 gazebos were built in the yard, and seats, waste bins, and bird nests were installed.
Considering the wishes and interests of the residents, new lighting poles and security cameras were installed in the courtyard, and the facades, roofs, and entrances of the buildings were completely renovated. Along with restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 30 trees were planted, and a green strip was laid out over 400 square meters, adhering to special quarantine regime rules.
In the renovated yard, medical and preventive measures were carried out in accordance with quarantine requirements. Disinfection dispensers were installed, and educational boards reminding residents to follow quarantine rules were placed.
This project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. Therefore, residents are encouraged to submit information and recommendations about the courtyards in our capital that need improvement to the IDEA Public Union.
