Our Yard Project in the City of Yevlakh

Within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, implemented by the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, the yard of 600 residents in Yevlakh was improved and put to use by the residents.

The renovated yard covers the territory of building No. 10 Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Yevlakh city.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to ensure ecologically clean and beautified yards, restore greenery that forms the pillar of urban ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the landscaped yard, the comfortable movement of people with disabilities and limited mobility was taken into account. To create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, to spend their free time effectively, and to encourage systematic sports, a football field, various sports facilities, entertainment facilities for children, and a playground were built.

In the yard, which spans an area of 1.0 ha, there is also a chat room and seating, an open-air chess court, and waste bins.

Considering the wishes and interests of the residents, lighting poles were installed in the yard, and the facade, roof, and entrance parts of the building were completely renovated. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the courtyard, 60 trees were planted, and a green strip was laid in compliance with the rules of the special quarantine regime.

It should be noted that this yard is the first to be landscaped in Yevlakh within the framework of the "Our Yard" project.
