Learning to Love Forests! - Agdash District

On April 21, ahead of International Earth Day, educational workshops on the importance of forests were conducted for schoolchildren in the village of Dehnekhali, Agdash District.

The program included a seminar, a tree-planting campaign, and a trip to the sparse arid forests of the Bozdag mountain range, as well as a visit to the Turyanchay State Nature Reserve, which is known for various plant and animal species listed in the Red Book.

The event was organized as part of a joint project by IDEA, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), aimed at raising awareness about the social, economic, and ecological benefits of forests.
