Landscaping of Yard Under Our Yard Project With Leyla Aliyeva's Participation

On April 14, a courtyard improved as part of the Our Yard project, organized by the IDEA Public Union and supported by the regional executive authorities of Baku, was made available to residents. This newly renovated yard is located on Intigam Nabiyev Street, Garadagh District, Lokbatan Settlement, in a neighborhood with more than 4,000 residents.

Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening of the courtyard and in the large-scale tree planting event held during the occasion.

The main goal of the Our Yard project is to create ecologically clean and beautiful yards, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

With support from the Garadagh District Executive Authority, the yard, spanning an area of 2 hectares, has been equipped with entertainment facilities, a football field, and sports equipment. This is to create favorable conditions for the comfortable movement of disabled people and the development of children of all age groups. The main goal of building such playgrounds is to help young people lead a healthy lifestyle, strengthen their health, spend their free time efficiently, and foster a habit of regular sports activities. Additionally, there is a special area for walking pets in the yard.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, the facades and entrance areas of the apartment buildings were fully repaired. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, about 500 trees and bushes were planted.

It should be noted that the Our Yard project was launched at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the founder and head of IDEA Public Union. The yard provided to the residents of Lokbatan Settlement is the third to be improved within the project.

The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, residents are encouraged to submit information and recommendations about the courtyards in the capital that need improvement to the IDEA Public Association.
