IDEA Lectures has been Launched

International Dialogue for Environment Action - IDEA, an initiative launched by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, head of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR), has started its “IDEA lectures” project which envisages holding scientific lectures on ecology and sustainability at educational institutions.

Today, the first lecture of the project was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Professor of the University of Indiana Rendall Baker delivered a lecture on “Science and problems of sustainability” at the Academy of Public Administration.

Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Professor Urkhan Alekperov appreciated the initiative of İDEA, and expressed his gratitude to Student Union Organization of Academy and especially to the lecturer Prof. Rendall Baker for his impressive contribution.

The final part of the lecture was carried out interactively in question-answer format, which was welcomed with great enthusiasm by students. It should be noted that under this project, IDEA campaign plans to hold similar “IDEA lectures” at different educational institutions throughout the country.
