IDEA Eco-Scout Project Continues Successfully

The Eco-Scout project, initiated by the IDEA Public Union and generating significant interest among young people, continues successfully. A meeting with new members of the IDEA eco-scouts, whose number has reached 150 in a short period of time, was held at the IDEA Resource Center on July 26.

It should be noted that the project was launched on March 27. The aim of the project is to involve young people in the protection of nature, encourage them to use natural resources wisely and sparingly, promote the study and conservation of wildlife, and engage in useful ecological activities in society.

The IDEA eco-scout project provides young people with the opportunity to understand the environmental problems that pose a threat to our planet and to participate in this public movement by involving others in solving these problems and becoming leaders in it.

During the meeting, young people who wish to become IDEA eco-scouts were provided with detailed information about the essence of the project, the responsibilities of the eco-scouts, their operating principles, daily eco-scout rules, ways to join the eco-scout club, how to obtain membership cards and high-status cards, and the point accumulation mechanism.

It should be noted that young people applying to join the club were given a membership card and a specially prepared cap, backpack, and badge by IDEA. New members will have the opportunity to engage in environmentally beneficial activities under the status of “Young Ecologist,” collect points, and increase their status. Eco-scouts who collect enough points will be considered to have reached the highest level and will be presented with valuable gifts by IDEA.

At the end of the meeting, the new members, who voluntarily applied to join the IDEA eco-scout project, took the “eco-scout oath” together.
