Ganja Volunteers Mobilized for a Greener Azerbaijan

An event involving about 1,000 IDEA Ganja volunteers took place in the park established in 1979 on the initiative of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, which now bears his name. Thanks to the active participation of young people, more than 10,000 Eldar pines and oriental plane trees were planted in the park's area.

The main goal of the campaign, carried out under the slogan "Help us make Azerbaijan greener!", is to accelerate the improvement of the ecological environment through tree planting, to contribute to the formation and development of ecological culture and a sense of care for nature among young people, to provide them with productive ways to spend their free time, and to promote environmental awareness and instill a caring attitude towards nature among the population.

Volunteers actively participated in the event organized to prevent potential future natural and anthropogenic impacts and to preserve and contribute to the area's biodiversity. They aimed to set an example for other young people and convey the importance of environmental protection in this way.

It should be noted that the IDEA Public Union regularly organizes such environmental campaigns to strengthen ecological propaganda among the population, to ensure youth participation in environmental protection and the purification of the atmosphere from harmful gases, and to promote the idea of "A healthy world for future generations."
