Ecological Laboratory for Children Project - December Session

On December 24, the next training was held as part of the "Ecological Laboratory for Children" project, jointly implemented by IDEA Public Union and the "Sevimli Bala" organization.

Aiming to increase children's knowledge about the environment, the December training of the Laboratory was dedicated to the topics of waste reduction, recycling, and reuse.

During the New Year's Eve training, the children were shown how to prepare and decorate a New Year's tree without harming nature. The process of waste and recycling was explained, along with its importance for our planet, especially for the living world. During the training, young nature lovers participated in fun games and knowledge competitions, conducting various tests.

At the end of the training, IDEA Public Union presented New Year's gifts to the young environmentalists.

It should be noted that the "Ecological Laboratory for Children" training, implemented since January 2015, is important for providing children with an interesting and enjoyable experience, as well as imparting environmental knowledge from an early age. Topics covered in the training include climate change and global warming, "green cities," waste and recycling, seasons and trees, atmospheric pollution, ecologically clean and healthy food, properties of water and its protection, energy conservation, and care for animals. In total, about 2,000 children have participated in the ecological laboratory.
