A celebration event was held in Baku under the international “Earth Hour 2015” campaign. More than 200 young people attended the event organized with the support of IDEA Public Union, World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) Azerbaijan Office and “Green Baku” organization.

The participants of this one-hour long event observed how the façade lights of the landmark downtown buildings were turned off, and joined symbolic candle lighting ceremony and bike tour.

This year more than one billion people across the globe joined this movement to demonstrate their solidarity against the climate change.
