Deadline Extended for the Eco House Project

The deadline for the Eco House project, implemented by IDEA led by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, in collaboration with the news portal Day.az, has been extended. Young people can now upload their sketches on the theme of Eco House (in “jpg” format) with a brief explanation on the website idea.day.az until April 10 instead of March 10.

The main reason for extending the project deadline was that the start of the project on February 3 coincided with the students' semester break. During and after the project presentations held at local universities, students showed great interest in the project and submitted numerous requests to extend the deadline.

The project involves creating sketches of environmentally friendly houses that consider ecological factors such as reducing energy consumption, waste utilization, and more.

Winners of the first round of the competition will be selected through voting on the social network Facebook. Following the voting, which will take place from April 10 to May 10, the 10 best sketches will advance to the second stage of the competition. In the second stage, the 10 sketches with the most votes will be evaluated by the competition jury.

The authors of the top three sketches will be awarded cash prizes of 3000, 2000, and 1000 AZN, respectively. Additionally, the first-place winner will have the opportunity to intern abroad, and the second-place winner will intern with one of the major construction companies operating in Azerbaijan.
