Our Yard Project - Pirallahi District, S. Baghirov Street

Initiated by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva, "Bizim həyət" (Our Yard) project successfully continues to improve and renovate old parks in Baku.

On 11 February 2020, another residential park unveiled within the project. Surrounded by four buildings with 400 residents, improved park is located 1, 2a, 8 and 16 Baghirov street in Pirallahi district.

"Bizim həyət" project aims to upgrade residential parks that need restoration, increase areas of greeneries in the city, promote social fitness and create more comfortable living environments for residents.

With various workout facilities, football field, outdoor chess board and children's playground, the new park provides comfort to everyone, including people with disabilities, and enables all ages, especially the young people, to engage in physical activity.

Moreover, 3 gazebos, numerous benches and waste bins have also been placed in the park.

At the request of residents, new lighting was installed, buildings’ façades, roofs and entrance areas have been renovated. Along with the restoration of the existing greenery, 150 new trees and bushes were planted and 3,000 square meter lawn was laid in the yard.

The project is planned to cover all districts of Baku. Suggestions and requests on the parks that need a renovation like this can be sent to IDEA.
