As Part of the Green Conversation Club project, the Next Meeting was Held

IDEA Public Union, which implements large-scale projects to engage young people in environmental issues and contribute to environmental protection and the fight against ecological problems, held the next meeting as part of the Green Conversation Club project.

The meeting took place on October 6th at the IDEA Resource Center, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the participation of about 30 volunteers.

In connection with World Food Day, the topic of this Club meeting was composting, and a special guest from the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, Kelly Tillett, gave a comprehensive presentation on the topic. Then the young people watched short videos on composting, shared their impressions, and discussed how to make natural fertilizer from food waste at home.

IDEA Public Union launched the Green Conversation Club project in June 2012 to improve young ecologists' knowledge of environmental issues and their foreign language (English) proficiency. From the first day, the Green Conversation Club has been a comfortable educational space for students and young professionals studying in the fields of environment and sustainable development to converse in English.

We invite individuals who wish to simultaneously improve their ecological knowledge and English language skills to join the Green Conversation Club, which will be dedicated to various environmental topics each month.
