Another Laboratory Training for Children Organized
On June 28, as part of the joint project of IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization called “Eco-Laboratory for Children,” a training session was held at IDEA’s Resource Center located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The training was aimed at children aged 6-11 and focused on the topics of “green city,” waste, and their reuse.
During the training, the children were informed about the environmental damage caused by cars and the benefits of eco-friendly transportation, including the use of bicycles. Additionally, they received extensive information about environmentally clean and polluted cities around the world. The “Young Ecologists” learned about methods to reduce waste, its reuse, and ways to build a “sustainable city.”
Furthermore, the young nature enthusiasts participated in fun knowledge quizzes and various competitions, took part in several laboratory tests, observed the waste recycling process, and created art from waste materials.
The June laboratory session, the sixth in the series organized by IDEA Public Union and “Sevimli Bala,” provided the children with an engaging and enjoyable day while also being beneficial for understanding the concept of a “sustainable city” from an early age.
Information about upcoming trainings within the “Eco-Laboratory for Children” will be posted in the media, on IDEA Public Union’s official website, and on social media pages.
