Another Great Cleaning Action Took Place on Bilgah Beach

In connection with the end of the beach season in the country, on September 24, the next coastal cleaning action was held with the joint organization of the IDEA Public Union, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

About 100 volunteers took part in the action held on Bilgah beach following the rules of the quarantine regime. October 1 - "Professional holiday of prosecutor's office employees" was attended by volunteers working as public assistants in the General Prosecutor's Office and employees of the prosecutor's office.

The main goal of the action organized in the area of ​​Bilgah beach under the slogan "Keep the coasts clean" is to promote the observance of cleanliness on the sea shores, to prevent littering of coastal areas with household waste, and to involve all young people in the fight for the protection of the marine environment.

During the event, the participants of the action, equipped with necessary sanitary equipment, cleaned about 2 hectares of the coastline of the beach from plastic and other household waste. In order to organize the process of waste collection more effectively, special equipment was brought to the area, the collected waste was sorted and handed over to "AzEkol" company for recycling.
