Ideas for IDEA Contest Held Jointly with PwC Azerbaijan
17.02.2013On February 16, 2013, IDEA Campaign in cooperation with PwC Talents Club, a project of PwC Azerbaijan, organized the "Ideas for IDEA" contest. This event was held at IDEA Resource Center based at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
PwC Talents Club is a free of charge student outreach program that brings most talented university students together. Within this program, members of the Club had a chance to participate in lessons from the PwC professionals covering such topics as consulting, auditing, essentials of financial management, taxation, leadership, advanced Excel, personal branding, and other essential skills to grow as a successful professional. The members of PwC Talents Club take part in social events.
"Ideas for IDEA" contest created an opportunity to find the best, sustainable, interactive, dynamic and cost effective methods of promoting the ideas for clean and safe life. Young and talented members of the PwC Talents Club were able to demonstrate how young people, students and society in general can act socially responsible, help preserving environment and be the agents promoting safe, healthy and green future.
Three teams ("Green Talents", "Clean Baku", "Green Thinkers") made the presentation of prepared project to the audience and answered arising questions. "Think Green, Speak Green and Act Green" project focused on environmental journalism and presented by "Green Talents" team was selected as winner. It is planned to implement the winning project with the support of PwC Azerbaijan and IDEA Campaign.
